  • Saturday

    8:00 am: Departure from MTD

    12:30 pm: Arrive in Palm Springs
    Lunch in Downtown Palm Springs (2 hours)

    2:30 pm: Forever Marilyn

    4:00 pm: Check-in at hotel

    4:30 pm: Departure to Pioneer town

    5:30 pm: Arrive at Pioneer town (30min)

    6:00 pm: Arrive at Joshua Tree

    • Arch Rock

    • Cholla Cactus Garden

    • Keys View

    8:00 pm: Return to hotel (1 hour)

    9:00 pm: Back at the hotel

  • SUNDAY

    10:00 am: Departure to Canyon View Estates
    10:30 am: Arrive at Canyon View Estates

    11:00 am: Departure to Indian Canyons
    11:30 am: Arrive at Indian Canyons

    • Hike Andreas Canyon ( 1 hour)

    • Picnic

    2:00 pm: depart to Trixie Motel Gift Shop

    2:30 pm: Arrive at Trixie Motel Gift shop

    3:00 pm: go to Saguaro Hotel

    3:30 pm: Leave Saguaro Hotel

    4:00 pm: Departure back to Santa Barbara

rooming information

The standard price is for a Quad Room!

The rooms have 2 queens bed. The tour guide will reach out to you on the day of the tour to organize the rooming list.

Please remember that being in a quad or double room is a fun way to make other international friends. Don't feel forced to choose a single room if you are by yourself. Most students traveling by themselves chose a quad room.

What to bring

We recommend that you bring certain items to have a smoother trip:

  • Hoodie / Sweatshirt (sometimes the A/C gets cold in the bus)

  • Charger and extra battery/power bank

  • Snacks

  • Passport (if you are 21+)

  • Sunglasses

  • Blanket/Pillow (for the long bus ride)

  • Camera

  • Earphones

  • Something to do on the bus (book, phone, game)
